CCSD Middle School Students Win State STEM Contest Honors

Two Cherokee County School District middle schoolers won top honors at a statewide STEM competition!

Congratulations to Lincoln Nguyen and Jackson White of Woodstock Middle School for winning the Outstanding Presentation award for their entry, “The Big C Tower,” at the Georgia Association of Water Professionals’ Model Water Tower Competition.  Their teacher advisor is Joi Marques.

The annual competition, sponsored for CCSD by the Cherokee County Water and Sewerage Authority (CCWSA), gives seventh-graders the opportunity to plan, design and build a water tower.  Thank you to CCWSA for your valued partnership and thank you to our School Board for its continued investment in STEM learning!
